Yet another great weekend!

So this great, fantastic, super-cool weekend actually started out on Thursday, when me, Ryan, and Kirstin decided that Tonya needed a surprise birthday party. Well, after a lot of stress and last minute planning, we were able to throw a game night/birthday party at my house the next day. I would like to take this time to say thanks to everyone who helped!

Kirstin, for decorating and planning.
Ryan, for making phone calls and planning.
My mom, for helping us so much with EVERYTHING.
Tonya, for being the reason to even have such an event.
Everyone else for showing up and bringing snacks!

Kirstin and Ryan got at my house at 4:30, then Emily, Chelsea, and Hannah came at 5-ish. At 6, Tonya pulled into our drive way. We all got into a tizzy, trying to get in our places(the places that we didn't actuallyhave time to plan out). My mom told me to get the lights, but Ryan said he had them. I asked him if he was sure, and he replied that he was. So Tonya walks into the dark, quiet house. We all yell, "Surprise!"...but it's still dark. It's complete silence besides the "click...click click..click" of Ryan trying to turn on the light! So that part was kind of a flop, but it was still better than nothing.

Once Tonya opened her presents and such, Drew came. He pretty much missed everything that had to do with the birthday party, but it was ok, because we had a game night! That was THE best part of the weekend for me, because I had an absolute BLAST. It was around 10pm when game night ended and everyone had to start heading home. Ryan and Drew stayed the night at my house with Jesse, while I went to Tonya's house with Kirstin. We didn't do too much that night at Tonya's because we were all so tired from the game night, so we just talked a little bit then went to bed at 1am.

The next day(Saturday), me, Tonya, Kirstin, Darcy, and Angie all went to the Bowling Green mall. We tried on some dresses, window shopped, ate Subway, watched Tonya buy shoes, and looked for cute guys. There were none, but I did find a BUNCH of awesome Alice In Wonderland stuff that I want! After we got done at the mall, Angie took us to Sonic, where she treated us all to Jr. sundaes and Route 44(or was it 66...?) drinks! Thanks again, Tonya's mom!

We got back into Lafayette, then Tonya and her mom dropped me and Kirstin off at the soccer fields, where Jesse, Ryan, and my dad were. We said our farewells to Tonya, and then we all played some soccer! I hurt Ryan's knee(sorry again!), but we still had fun. Once we all left the soccer fields, it was time to go home and get some much needed sleep!

I thought the weekend of fun was over, until I woke up this morning(ok, so it was really afternoon, but whatever), and found out that the family was going to take a speed trip to Bowling Green! Since me and Jesse had church that night at 6, we went to 3 sports stores, Hot Topic, Cici's, and Target...all in an hour and a half. We got back into town and met up with Joe at the Dollar General so we could show him how to get to church. We got to church, had a good Youth meeting, and then we all had a FANTASTIC time hanging out afterwords!

Even though I'm covered in bruises, my neck is sore, and I'm still tired, this weekend has been really terrific, and I'm glad that I have such great friends that I could spend it with. Love you guys!

I Don't Even Read The Stupid Things...

I totally forgot to add something to my "most hated things" list. FORWARDED CRAP.

Seriously, I hate them! Oh my goodness! Let me give you an example of these little bubble-bursters.

I wake up to my phone vibrating, and I get super excited. As all my close friends should know, I really REALLY love good morning texts. They make me insanely happy. Almost giddy. Well, I whip off the covers, grab my phone, flip it open, and BAM! Instant download on some crappy forwarded junk. Gee, thanks. You just sent me death threats in a text. Great start to the morning.

If you're one of those super lucky people who never get forwarded anything, then you probably don't know what I mean by "death threats". Well, if the spammer doesn't send the text to 20 billion other people, he/she will be cursed with either a life time of bad luck, God will hate them, an evil clown will attack them while they sleep, their love life will suck, etc. Here's a newsflash for all those gullible people out there: If you don't forward it, you will NOT die or become disease ridden. I promise. That is all.

Friends 'Til The End

I have decided to steal Kirstin's idea and write about my best friends. =]

TONYA!
You are absolutely hilarious! You're so sweet and funny, and you're always there if I need you. You know how to turn a bad situation into a good one, and you can always make me feel better. I've known you for like, ever(well, really about 4 years), and you still find ways of surprising me! You also teach me a lot about the Japanese culture, which is actually pretty cool. I love you!

KIRSTIN!
Oh. My. Goodness. Where do I begin?! Gosh, things started out so terribly for me and you, and now look where we are! You're awesome, Kirstin. You are the most mature 15 year old I know. I seriously think you're birth certificate is wrong...I think you're actually 16 already. =P You really are great though. You've got a great sense of humor and you put up with all of my crazy antics. you let me take a bazillion pictures of you, even though you never know what to do, and you ALWAYS give me a good hug, which I love. I love them almost as much as I love you!

RYAN!
......My head is pretty much in a swirl trying to think of how best to describe our friendship. You're the best guy friend that I've ever had and we've been through a lot together. I think all of our spats have made us better friends, which is great. You're very fun to talk to, and I LOVE hanging out with you because you're just so fun and nice! I really wish you still had texting, because I kindly miss our late night texting sprees. You're always up for a good conversation, and you are like, the only person I like talking on the phone with, even though I never call you. =P I love you too!

CHELSEA!
Yep. You're pretty awesome! You're a very quiet, sweet person(unless you're at a sleep over at 8am with no sleep), and I really enjoy talking to you. We like a lot of the same things, which is nice. Even though you mock my taste in guys, I still love talking to you about them. I'm really glad that we got past that awkward "stand-in-the-corner" stage and onto the friendship!

And there you have it! My best friends that aren't related to me! They each have their own little quirks that make them super special in a totally terrific way and I'm really glad that I was lucky enough to get to meet them. Love you guys!

So I had this dream...

CAST OF CHARACTERS:

This insanely cute guy who has worked at Walmart for like, 8 years. I've had weird sort of very minor crush on him ever since he started. He works in the Electronics department. I've never actually talked to him.

Myself, a girl who ends up immensely happy.

A mob of over enthusiastic teenage girls.

MY DREAM

I was walking around Walmart when the cute Electronics department guy looked up at me and actually smiled at me! I smiled back, obviously, but I was getting a serious case of the butterflies. I'm not exaggerating when I say this guy is cute. He has curly brown hair, nice eyes, good jaw bones, he's tall...*swoon* But yeah. Anyways. Back to the dream!

I was walking around and all of a sudden, the cute guy is next to me, and he starts telling me his name, when this mob of girls comes over and starts screaming like they've seen a famous male singer or something. Alex grabs my hand, pulls me into this room in the back(employees only ;]), and starts laughing his supercute laugh. We mostly talk without actually saying anything. We just know what the other is thinking, and we communicate that way. Don't you just love dreams?

Seeing as this is a dream, anything can happen, and it does. Alex kisses me, it's great, he's great looking, I always look good in dreams(thank goodness), and we speed up a few days to see that Alex has given me this weird book that he's spent quite a few hours on. He wrote all these little notes on every page for me to read, and it's really sweet. So there he is, sitting on the floor with me leaning against his side, reading his book, and the mob of girls watching us from across the room. They can't get any closer, but they're still staring. Me and Alex don't even notice though, because we're THAT oblivious to anything else.

Next thing I know, I'm awake in real life trying desperately to go back to bed so I can see Alex again. I kid you not when I say I woke up smiling. It was a pretty darn good dream. Gosh, I sound so cheesy, but I can't help it. I just had to write it all out so that way I can remember it.

A short yet happy blog

Oh my goodness, I'm in an insanely good mood right now! I've been extra happy for the past 3 days, and I don't know why! =D I bet it has to do with the fact that I've been seeing so much of my best friends lately, I've gotten to eat at Cici's pizza, I own some awesome new shoes, and soccer is going to be starting up soon! Yep, I bet that's it. Yay!

Platform Nine and Three Quarters

Wouldn't it be great if there really WERE a Platform 9 and 3/4? To be able to go to Hogwarts would be...incredible, to say the least. Oh, how I wish I could go! Wait a sec....

My Day

Today, I woke up because my phone was vibrating like crazy. Turns out it was Mrs Reba calling to ask me something. After I got done talking to her, I got out of bed and did the usual morning routines. I went outside for something and realized what an absolutely MARVELOUS day it was! The sun was shining full blast, the sky was my favorite shade of blue, there were puffy white clouds spotting the perfect sky, and it was 57 degrees! That may not be very big news to people in Hawaii, but for us popsicles in TN, it was down right boiling outside.

After I soaked up enough rays, I went back inside the house and spent about 2 hours reading and checking stuff on Facebook. At around 2pm, Mom, Jesse, and myself decided to go to Rivergate. As we approached town, I called Tonya and ask her if she wanted to come with us, and she did. So once we stopped by and picked her up, we were on our way! We went to Target, Cici's Pizza, Best Buy, Wendy's, and 3 different Goodwills. It was pretty much a blast. Here are some pictures from the day!

Tonya wearing some "granny glasses" we found at Goodwill.

Me and my awesome hat.

Jesse playing a guitar while in Best Buy.

Tonya standing in front of the Wall of Guitars in Best Buy.

It was about 10pm before we got back home, so it was a very long, very fun day!

Another Prom Blog

Well, all of my female friends are getting ready for prom. They're all trying out new hairstyles, looking at and trying on dresses, finding dates, and posting on their Facebook's about how excited they are.

I refuse to be bitter! I wish them all a good time and I know that they're all going to look great on the big day. =]

Amigos!

I MISS MY FRIENDS!

Even though I seen them...um, yeah. Wednesday. Hah! Gosh, I'm such a stingy friend. =(

Oh, wretched things, how I loathe thee!

I hate few things in this world. Those few things would be:

Being ignored.
Blades.
Watching people getting cut with blades.
Crunchy onions.
Cucumbers.
Chocolate chip mint ice cream.
Any type of person who thinks they're better than everyone else.
All truly horrible crimes, such as murder, rape, kidnapping, abuse, etc...
Being in the basement alone at night.
Loads of snow.
Cancellation of ANY social event.
My over-active imagination at it's worst.
Watermelon and lime candy.
Loose strands of hair that AREN'T mine.

Who all noticed my new blog description BEFORE I wrote this blog? =P

It's lyrics from the song Pork and Beans by Weezer. I thought it sounded pretty accurate to my personality. I hope so anyways, because I love how it sounds. Also, I really think I'd love pork and beans, were I to try them.

Something I'd Like To Share

Ok, so this is pretty much hilarious. Carol Burnett guest starred on two episodes of The Lucy Show as Lucy's awkward but loving roommate. The first of the two episodes is probably the best out of the whole series. Lucy comments on something her roommate says, and this is what the reply is...

"That's my library training. Believe me, it isn't always easy. Especially when you get some of those
people in the library who are looking for a book, and they can't remember the title, or the author's name, and you go through shelf after shelf, book after book, and you want to say to them, "DROP DEAD!" -- Carol Burnett

*sighs* Hilarious!

Ha Ha!

=O I'm down to two Hershey's Kisses! One for each cheek ;]

Anyways, I finished Catching Fire last night. I still like Peeta better. Know why? Because Gale is just too serious! He needs to lighten up! I mean, really! Life is too short to be serious all the time. As the Joker says, "Why so serious?".

Be serious when you need to be, not all the time. Laughter is the best sort of medicine(though sometimes pills and fluids help some, too). Know what else is really great for you? Making someone else laugh. I don't know about you guys, but I really love making people laugh. It makes me feel good. The best is making people laugh unintentionally. I love saying or doing something totally random that will make my friends laugh!

So whether it's giggles, chortles, chuckles, hee-haws, or full out belly laughs, let it out! Embrace the happy! Enjoy the smiles. =]

Fan Pages That Everyone Else Except Me Cares About

I feel as though I'm being forced into saying this, mostly because I can stand it no longer; I hate seeing people becoming fans of REALLY stupid stuff, no matter what it is!

You're a fan of bananas, losing your phone because you have it on vibrate/silent, arguing with your parents gets you into trouble, saying "sooo" to break an awkward silence, and many more absurd pages. You're a fan of becoming a fan, for crying out loud! What really gets me is the fact that people become fans of things that they hate! HOW ANNOYING.

Why does it bother me so much? No idea. Maybe it's the fact that my News Feed is 99% "Such and Such became fans of __________". There's hardly anything about my friends on there anymore! What happened?! True, I used to find fan pages funny, but when I have to read the same ones over, and over, and over, and OVER again because different friends keep adding the same pages....well, let's just say it gets old.

Call me a Party Pooper, but that's what I think.

The Ever So Popular Random Thoughts

"Standing in line to see the show tonight, and there's a light on, heavy glow. By the way I tried to say I''d be waiting for..."

Wait a second...are you telling me that I can't have fun playing a game with a person without you thinking we're flirting?! Psht, that's bogus.

Movie making is pretty much amazing.

I'm eating candy pumpkins. Yes, it's 1:30am.

I am currently surrounded by Camp Rock memorabilia.

I just got done watching a movie making feature with my mom. It was fun, minus a moment of extreme cringing.

Have I ever mentioned that I absolutely despise blades of all types? Well, I'll tell you now. I hate them.

I'm going to get fat, because I can't stop eating the candy Ryan got me.

BELLATRIX LESTRANGE!

My friends are awesome!

I'm really thirsty.

I have a hermit crab puppet on my desk. It's pretty dang cute.

I LOATHE SNOW WITH A FIERY PASSION!

Valentine's Day...

It's Valentine's Day! I wasn't that excited about today, until last night. Last night, one of my best friends, Ryan, gave me the sweetest card I have ever gotten from a friend, and some great candy that I love(though I'm not sure how he knew I liked that kind...). The card he gave me is absolutely wonderful! I'm not going to say what he wrote, but it really meant a lot to me, and I'm really glad that he decided I meant enough to him to write all that. Ryan, you really are one of my best friends, and I love you too, even though I don't always show it. =] Happy Valentine's Day!

Kids(and i don't mean goats)

Here's some of the things I heard tonight while watching about 15 or 20 kids with some of my best friends.

"It's a weasel ball! A weasel ball!" *insert crazed laughter* "Weasel ball!"

*After Ellen tells the kids to calm down and leaves the room* "She's gone! Let's party!"

*trying to find cups that weren't there* "Where's the cups? Where are they? Where are all the cups? I want a cup!"

*looking through sticker letters* ME: I think this is an "N". LITTLE KID: Yeah, it is. I know because I turned it upside down to see if it was a "U" and it looked all weird looking."

There were also funny incidents, such as Ryan trying to get a hacky-sack away from a kid, only to have the kid throw the sack to his buddy and his buddy throw it at Ryan's head. I almost cried from laughing, but I don't think Ryan knows that. ;] There was also Chelsea's cookie being sneezed and coughed on by a kid, then the kid picking every single sprinkle off said cookie, then eating all the crumbs off the table.

Kids are gross. Kids are weird. Kids are funny. Kids are kids!

Peeta vs. Gale

I'm reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins right now, and I just wanted to say something.

Since apparently everyone in the world(or at least the US) has to be on a certain "team" (example: Team Edward, Team Jacob, Team Gale, Team Percy...etc.), I would just like to state that I am Team Peeta! For all those Gale lovers out there, I'll let you know my reasons for picking Peeta.

First off, we really don't know that much about Gale. We haven't heard from him much, and from what I can tell, he's a hothead.

Second, Peeta has a cooler name.

Third, Even though Gale sounds as though he's cute, who would want to date someone who is commonly mistaken for your brother or cousin?! Yuck.

Those are my reasons, and I'm sticking to them. If, by some weird chance, Gale goes through a personality change before the end of this book, I will reconsider my choice.

A Blog With No Point At All

I was looking through my blog(because yes, I'm one of those people who re-reads what they wrote), and I realized that I have 4 followers! *Gasp!* Can life get any better!? No, I don't think so.

Wait a second. My kitten just looked at me with THE sweetest little face ever. Ok, life just got that much better. ;]

My busy, busy weekend

FRIDAY: Ryan and Kirstin come over at 5 and hang out. Go to Pepperoni's at around 7 and have a BLAST. Sometime after 8, go to Emily's house and stay the night with Emily, Kaitlin, Chelsea, Kirstin, and Amanda C. Have an insanely great time. Go to bed at around 8am.

SATURDAY: Wake up at 9:30am. Leave Emily's house at 11. Get picked up by Tonya and Darcy and head to Lebanon to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakual. Laugh a lot. Go to Subway. Go back to Tonya's house, then leave 20 minutes later. Arrive at Walmart. Text Ryan and brother and tell them to meet us at Walmart. Play the newest extreme sport, Walmart hide-and-seek. Sprint all around the store. Play for about 25 minutes, then head back to Tonya's house. Eat a great supper of tacos and nachos with cheese. Take a bazillion pics. Crash at midnight.

SUNDAY: Leave Tonya's house. Go to Walmart. FINALLY talk to Joe in person. Find THE cutest kitten EVER in parking lot, then bring him home. Name said kitten "Percy". Amanda's Got Talent! (get it? "America". "Amanda". *chortles*

Have I ever mentioned how nice it feels to have at least one talent? I used to think I had none, that I was about as talented as a bag of rocks. Heck, the bag of rocks probably had more talent than me! I was about 15 when I finally started obtaining some talents. I'm going to take a second to be all conceited and make a list of my talents.

  • I can take some pretty darn good pictures(or so I've been told).
  • I can play enough piano to say that I'm a piano player.
  • I can read HUGE books(we're talking over 780 pages) in little less than a week.
  • I'm pretty good at photo-shopping.
  • I know how to make some funny videos.
  • I'm not terrible at soccer. I've been told many a times that I'm a beast on Defense. It makes me happy.
  • Apparently I'm good at giving advice? I'm not sure about that one, but I'll write it down anyways.
  • I'm a whiz at cleaning up after animals. Not something I'm too proud of, though.
  • When I take the time, I can draw a great Spongebob.
Ok, so some of these shouldn't even count(like none of them past the first two). I'm not even sure if reading big books or giving advice would even be counted as a talent. Probably not, now that I come to think of it. You know what? Just completely ignore anything below the first two. That would probably be best.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

Starting at around 5-ish o' clock, things are going to be awesome. Kirstin and Ryan MIGHT be coming over at 5, at around 7 I'm going over to Emily's to spend the night with 6 other girls, then on Saturday, I'm heading on over to Tonya's house to stay the night and possibly go watch Sherlock Holmes! Yay! I can't wait! I'm so excited! Look at all these exclamation points!!!!!!!!! AREN'T THEY CONTAGIOUS?!!?!?!?!?!?!

Um....yeah. I'm really happy.

Pee Are Oh Em

Want to know something that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever? I want to go to prom. Want to know why that makes no sense? I hate wearing dresses, I feel terribly self-conscious when I have to get dressed up, I can't dance, and no one would ask me to go. See the weirdness now?

I'm not sure why I want to go so badly, but I do. Maybe it's the fact that I've never been to any sort of dance in my life. Going to prom seems like some sort of like a right to me. It's like you're required to go to a dance of some sort or your teen years just aren't complete. Thankfully, I'm not the only one who thinks this.

I wonder what what type of experience I would have if I were to go. Would it be one of those perfect nights where nothing can go wrong and your dancing on clouds, or would it be the complete opposite? Would I end up getting something on my dress? Would I get dumped once we arrived at the prom? Would I somehow get an earring stuck in my date's hair? Would I even recognize a corsage?! There's plenty of things that could go wrong, but I'm willing to take my chances, if the opportunity should ever arise.

I think the best part would be getting ready for the night. Have a few of your closest girl friends come over, help each other dress up, laugh over every little thing, watch the clock as the anticipation grows, talk about where you hope your date takes you out to eat beforehand.....it doesn't sound like much fun to a guy, but to a girl, it sounds like a great time.

Well, if I should ever get the chance to go to prom, be it with a group of friends or with a date, I'll be sure to let you know. ;P
